Low's Peak 4095m - We touched the sky! Monday 2nd Feb 2004

South East Asia Highest Peak
We made it. Before, we only read and adored the peak from our Geography text book. That day, we stood at the peak and touched the sky.

Look! Donkey Ears!
"Hee!! Hor!! Hee!! Hor!!!"...

Coming down
All good thing must come to an end. We hike down from peak and reached headquarter at about 5.30 pm that day. Certificates was presented and everybody was proud with their certifications. They now have something new to hang on the wall.

Valerie, Ervie, Adrian, Phui Tin and I parted the group and headed straight to town while the remaining took a shutter van to Kinabalu Pine Resort. They will be visiting Poring Hot Spring tomorrow.

There wasn't any public transport available thus we hired a van. RM120 per trip to town which was ok considering the two hours journey. As we were going down the hill, we witnessed sun set. View of gorgeous mountains left and right of windows was simply astonishing.

The five of us checked into a backpacker hotel in town called City Park Inn. Alarm was set to 8am as we got class to attend tomorrow >>
